Auto Shutdown

Auto Shutdown is a free utility for automatically shutting down or logging off a computer. An automated shutdown/logoff is achieved in two ways: You can set the exact time of shutdown or you can wait for a specific number of days,hours or minutes before shutting down. The progam can be configured for forced shutdown/restart/logoff and also has a poweroff option. A scheduled task can be cancelled at anytime by a simple right-click on the timer.

Auto Shutdown Plus

Auto Shutdown Plus provides the ability to shutdown, restart, and log off your computer at a specified time or after an imputed duration. You may also select a message to appear instead of ending your current session. An alarm can be used to notify the user until acknowledgment of an action or message. Auto Shutdown Plus allows parameters to be passed during startup for advanced users and functionality.

Auto Window Manager

Auto Window Manager automatically manages any window you specify. For instance, some web browsers open up in a non-maximized window. Using Auto Window Manager,you can set those windows to automatically maximize (minimize, normal, minimize to tray, stay on top) every time they opened. It works with almost any program, including web browsers, Notepad, etc. Auto Window Manager stays running in the system tray, so it stays out of your way while it works.
Auto Window Manager adds several menu items to standard window menu accessible via application icon in the title bar. The commands are: Minimize to system tray, always keep window on top, Set window transparency, align window, resize window.

autoclose is a small utility to shut down Windows systems automatically. Some of its features are: - Shut down the system at certain hour (e.g. at 12:00). - Shut down the computer according CPU usage - Several types of shut down (shut down, restart, ...). - User friendly interface. - Works with Windows 9x/Me/NT/2000.
Due to the differences among Windows 95, 98 and NT/2000, the program doesn't show the same options to all OS: - Under Win95 / Win98, you'll be able make your system shutdown (and poweroff), log off, hibernate or reboot. - Under WinNT/Win2000, you'll be able make your system shutdown (to safe to switch off screen, poweroff, log off, hibernate or reboot. - The Force close option assure that the system will be shut down, no matter what programs would be actived. In the other hand, you may lose any unsaved data of these programs, so use this option carefully. - Autoclose can shut down at any date or time. It can also perform the same task at the same hour every day. - Autoclose can shut down on CPU idle : when the CPU usage goes below a certain value while a certain amount of time, autoclose runs the task specified in the "What" tab. - In the options panel, you can specifiy autoclose loading with windows (useful for recurring tasks). - You can also specifiy a value for the warning countdown. - Autoclose can wait for a certain amount of time you can specify in the options tab and then start shutting down on CPU idle. - The switch -start (e.g. autoclose.exe -start) will cause autoclose automatically starting then countdown to the shut down.
