Association Manager
|
|
Do you want your .bmp files to always open in Photoshop? Your .mp3 files in Winamp? This utility helps you organize the association between file types and the applications that open them. You can permanently save your settings so that programs don't change them without your knowledge, and you can modify the file icon for each file type. If you want to see what your current settings are, you can print an HTML list of all of your associations.

ASUS SmartDoctor
|
The ASUS SmartDoctor application is a powerful utility designed for three major goals. Overclocking, monitoring and cooling.
The overclocking function allows you to manually adjust both core and memory clocks to boost your graphics card performance. SmartDoctor also provides the HyperDrive technology to dynamically change the core clock.
The ASUS SmartDoctor monitors the temperature, voltage and fan speed to ensure the graphics card's optimum performance. It alerts you if any abnormal event is detected.
Another function by SmartDoctor is GPU cooling. SmartDoctor supports manual fan speed control , SmartCooling technology that automatically cools down the graphic chip by accelerating the fan speed and decreasing the core clock and Auto Fan Control that automatically adjust fan speed by adjusting core clock.
Some functions mentioned in the manual are only available when the ASUS enhanced driver is installed. When you do not install ASUS enhanced driver, SmartDoctor will prompt a warning message after starting SmartDoctor.
NOTE:
- ASUS SmartDoctor does not support ATI RADEON LE and SE graphics cards.
- ASUS SmartDoctor provides only the overclocking feature if your graphics card does not have a monitor IC installed.
- For graphics card models without a monitor IC, ASUS SmartDoctor provides only the overclocking function.
Requires: Windows 7/Vista/XP

Command scheduling utility
Usage: ATONCE [COMPUTERNAME] [COMMAND]
ATONCE schedules a job (Batch file or command line program) to run in the near future (14 seconds if the "Schedule Service" is detected and 1 Minute if "Task Scheduler" is found) from the execution of this command. This command calculates the execution time based upon the remote computer time and timezone offset. The time on the local computer is disregarded. This makes the local machine time/date irrelevant when issuing the ATOnce Schedule command.
If you have every tried running programs like the Resource Kit 'soon.exe' you will find that they are very dependent upon your time matching the remote machine time, and heaven forbid you are in a different time zone.
Note: This program will automatically start the schedule service if it's not already running on the remote machine.
