Disk Scanner is a tiny utility to check the hard drive for read errors. Sometimes, you may notice, that some files on the disk cannot be read. This may happen for several reasons, but the most important one is the hard drive degradation, that may be the first typical sign of the disk failure.

Arjan Mel's Font Viewer - very useful software to view all the characters included in a font, it also gives you highly detailed information on each font.
This is a program which is intended as a replacement for the Character Map program supplied with Windows. It's main advantage lies in the fact that it let's you choose characters from the full UnicodeR range (just like the insert symbol function in Microsoft Word'97/2000).

ARP++ is an advanced version of the Add/Remove Programs that is a part of Windows. It will allow you to uninstall programs which cannot be removed from (or may not even appear in) the Windows ARP. Not all programs installed on your computer may be uninstalled using the Windows ARP. And still more programs may not even appear. ARP++ displays all known programs on your system that can be uninstalled through conventional means.
ARP++ is very simple to use. Just select the program and click "remove." Note that you may not get prompted to confirm your selection (it depends on the program you are removing), so be absolutely sure before clicking remove.
ARP++ is a Windows application requiring a 32-bit Microsoft Windows Operating System.

Is your PC still starting up slowly?
Remember the day when you bought your new PC with Windows installed? It was lightning fast. It took only about ten seconds to boot. When you opened the Start menu or the load/save file dialogs, they showed up instantly. But, after a year of heavy use, you now realize that your PC has some serious performance issues. If you are interrested by benchmark, you can get AsBench. This is a SCSI only benchmark that use ASPI interface. There is a DOS version and a Win32 console (for Win95 and WinNT). The C source are included.
It was originaly written by Tsuru-Zoh and I've made the Win32 version.
