ADS Scanner

Alternate Data Streams (ADS) are pieces of info hidden as metadata on
files on NTFS drives. They are not visible in Explorer and the size
they take up is not reported by Windows. Recent browser hijackers
started using ADS to hide their files, and very few anti-malware
scanners detect this. Use ADS Scanner to find and remove these streams.
Note: this application can also display legitimate ADS streams. Don't
delete streams if you are not completely sure they are malicious!
What does ADS Scanner do?
ADS Scanner searches through your drives and lists all the files that
have Alternate Data Streams attached. You can then remove all or some
of the streams found.

A small tool to list, view or delete Alternate Data Streams (ADS) on Windows 2000/XP with NTFS file systems. ADS is a way of storing meta-information for files without actually storing the information in the file it belongs to, carried over from early MacOS compatibility from Windows NT4. Recently browser hijackers began using this technique to store hidden information on the system, and even store trojan executable files in ADS streams of random files on the system. Use with caution.

Advanced Firewall

Advanced Firewall application which blocks all TCP process based on rules you specify such as Remote Port, Process Name, Remote IP, and Local Port. Logs all activity and gives option to save log files.
You can also save your settings and import/export them. You can block all processes by default and allow them based on a set of rules or block only based on those rules.
You can password protect the firewall and its functions with 3 different security levels. The software also includes detailed or simple alerts that will notify you when a certain process is found.
Note: Some antivirus and antispyware programs flag Advanced Firewall as being infected/malware, although the application is perfectly safe and does not pose a threat to your system.
