Cookies Manager
|
|
Cookies are small files on your hard drive. Web pages can recognise you when you come on them again. They have no utility for you and are there only to track you. Some cookies however store
settings of pages to see them as you want. So, certainly, you want to keep them. Cookies Manager helps you to select which cookies you want to keep and which cookies you want to delete.

CookieWall
|
|
Online privacy is a big deal these days, with huge companies being formed every month to both protect and exploit information gathered about you. By far the most common method used to track individuals on the Internet is the 'Cookie', a small file stored on your machine with information provided by a website... While the majority of the websites out there use this tool as it was intended, more and more are exploiting it in ways that were never intended - that's where AnalogX CookieWall comes in.
AnalogX CookieWall allows you to quickly and easily decide which cookies can stay on your system, and which cookies should go - once you let CookieWall know which ones are unwelcome, it does the rest. CookieWall can be configured to delete cookies as soon as they arrive, to notify you of any new ones, or just que them up for you to check out at a later date.
CookieWall is currently only compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer or derived versions (such as NeoPlanet); Netscape support should be available in the near future.

CORE FORCE
|
CORE FORCE is the first community oriented security solution for personal computers. CORE FORCE is free and provides a comprehensive endpoint security solution for Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems.
The security framework provided by CORE FORCE is leveraged by a community of security experts that share their security configurations for a growing list of programs. These security profiles can be downloaded by any user of CORE FORCE from the community Web site and they're also completely open so that they can be peer-reviewed to minimize security hazards. The community approach to endpoint security also allows end-users who are not security experts to work in a secure environment.
CORE FORCE can be used to:
- Protect your computer from compromises by worms, virus and email-borne malware
- Prevent your computer from being used as a staging point to amplify attacks and compromise others
- Prevent exploitation of known bugs in the operating system and applications running on your computer
- Prevent exploitation of unknown bugs (0-day) in the operating system and applications running on your computer
- Detect and prevent execution of adware, spyware, trojan horses and other malware on you computer
CORE FORCE provides inbound and outbound stateful packet filtering for TCP/IP protocols using a Windows port of OpenBSD's PF firewall, granular file system and registry access control and programs' integrity validation. These capabilities can be configured and enforced system-wide or on a per-application basis for specific programs such as email readers, Web browsers, media players, messaging software, etc.

CoverUp by BB
|
|
Have you ever been annoyed with constant flashing icons which get bundled into trial software you download to test?
I never cease to be amazed at the brainless philosophy behind some marketing concepts. In my view, it makes no sense to constantly annoy a potential customer... and flashing lights is the best way to drive him away.
If you’re like me, I’m sure you would like to trial the software without the annoyance. Here’s an idea to simply cover-up the flashing lights by masking them with forms set always-on-top.

A little utility to extract undecrypted hashes out of a passfile.
- Load a pot file
- Process the passfile
The potfile will stay in memory allowing you to process multiple passfiles
I might make it to load multiple passfiles straight off ... but can't be bothered right now

cPfPc

Cisco PIX firewalls, as every other Cisco device, let you insert the password for the enable mode and telnet access directly in their encrypted form using the commands:
- enable password **************** encrypted
- passwd **************** encrypted
where the string **************** is the encrypted form of a known cleartext password.
This program produces the encrypted form of PIX passwords without the need to access the device.
Networks and security administrators can use it to write authentication informations in the firewall's configuration files completely off-line.
for Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP
WARNING !!! The encryption algorithm used by PIX firewalls to encrypt these passwords is very fast (too fast) so an off-line password guessing attack against them could be very effective. You are encouraged to keep PIX configuration files absolutely private.
