BerBible

BerBible is dramatically simplified freeware oriented to non-techies (such as children, missionaries, seniors, etc.) The learning curve is almost trivial because the user interface includes only the bare essentials:
- go directly to a specific chapter or verse
- find verses with specified word(s)
The well behaved BerBibleSetup.exe is a small 1.1 meg download, which includes the public domain World English Bible Old and New Testaments. Even on dinosaur computers, it is running and ready to use in less than one second. Word/phrase searching is very fast and flexible to find what you are looking for (super concordance). Several FAQ's are available (frequently asked questions).
BerBible works great on Lowest Common Denominator computers that are too obsolete for fuller featured Bible software to be practical. It doesn't assume the end-user has a high resolution monitor and latest/greatest/fastest hardware. BerBible is very usable even with a 486, Win95, and VGA 640*480 resolution. Its small download size is optimized for people with a slow, unreliable, and/or expensive Internet connection.

Bible Lesson Record Book

This unique software program has an interesting background. As a Sunday School superintendent we recently had the task of finding a solution for our Sunday School teachers. We needed a way to track what our Sunday School students were being taught in their classes as they progressed from class to class, from one year to another. It turned out that as the students graduated from one grade to the next, the new Sunday School teacher had little idea what the previous teacher had taught the students. After thinking of different ways to address the problem, the idea of a Bible lesson record book emerged.
This software program will generate a Bible lesson record book that you can print. The printed pages that the program will produce will provide a quick reference history of each student's knowledge of the Bible as they graduate from one Bible class to another. The sheets that this program will print contain the entire Bible broken down into books, chapters and groups of verses. Each group of verses is accompanied with a brief summary that serves as a quick reference for the teacher trying to locate a specific Bible passage.

Bible Memorize and Bible Word Search Game

This program is two games in one. It's a race against the clock to find as many words as you can from the randomly generated letters in the game grid! Use bonus points to help you with those hard to find words! Design your own Game Grids! High Scores help you track your progress for each different game grid design! Each game is different, even using the same game grid, because of the randomly generated letters!
The Bible Memorize game provides a fun way to memorize Scripture verses! You can manually type your favorite verses (from any translation) into the database, and the computer will randomly select verses to quiz you. The words in the Scripture Verses will then be randomly added to the playing grid. Your goal is to find all of the words that create the Scripture verse! (There are creative ways in which you can turn this game into a spelling quiz, dictionary definitions quiz, foreign language quiz, or many other "flash card" style memorization teaching techniques. Examples are preloaded.)
The Bible Word Search game will make you more familiar with the individual words that create the text of God's Word. It is a fun way to discover what words exist in the Bible and what words don't. For example, "automobile" is a valid word, but it is not found in the Bible. However, "ocean" is a valid word AND it is in the Bible. You decide which books of the Bible to use as the word dictionary! Your goal is to find as many Bible words as you can from the randomly generated letters in the game grid!

"Bible Paint and Learn" is more than just a paintbook. Of course, you can color and print a lot of pictures from Biblical stories. But besides, you can also read the actual story (in a simplified version for children) and take a test in order to see if you understood everything. And just for fun, you can also make a puzzle out of the picture and solve it on screen.
