Cygwin
|
|
The Cygwin tools are ports of the popular GNU development tools for Microsoft Windows. They run thanks to the Cygwin library which provides the POSIX system calls and environment these programs expect.
With these tools installed, it is possible to write Windows console or GUI applications that make use of significant parts of the POSIX API. As a result, it is possible to easily port many Unix programs without the need for extensive changes to the source code. This includes configuring and building most of the available GNU software (including the packages included with the Cygwin development tools themselves) as well as lots of BSD tools and packages (including OpenSSH). Even if the development tools are of little to no use to you, you may have interest in the many standard POSIX utilities provided with the package. They can be used from one of the provided Unix shells like bash, tcsh or zsh, as well as from the standard Windows command shell if you have to for some sad reason.

D Compiler
|
|
D is a general purpose systems and applications programming language. It is a higher level language than C++, but retains the ability to write high performance code and interface directly with the operating system API's and with hardware. D is well suited to writing medium to large scale million line programs with teams of developers. D is easy to learn, provides many capabilities to aid the programmer, and is well suited to aggressive compiler optimization technology.
D is not a scripting language, nor an interpreted language. It doesn't come with a VM, a religion, or an overriding philosophy. It's a practical language for practical programmers who need to get the job done quickly, reliably, and leave behind maintainable, easy to understand code.
D is the culmination of decades of experience implementing compilers for many diverse languages, and attempting to construct large projects using those languages. D draws inspiration from those other languages (most especially C++) and tempers it with experience and real world practicality.

(or you have to include own Libraries (dlls) to get extended functions)

D2 Compiler
|
|
Main features of the language is an absence types of data, block structure, separate compilation. The language only procedural, includes also concept of the vector procedure (dynamically substituted at the moment of performance, supports main structures of handle of languages of a Algol-type: following, branching, cycles, procedure call, expression.
The compiler, Realized by me, creates the executable code for the processor Intel 80x86, on handle Dos (the com-file).
Inside implementation is very similar to a Fort and is the classical two-push-down machine, with the hardware arithmetic stack (the apex is in the register ax) and stack of returns on bp. The compiler generates native code (aka Subroutine Threading) with inline inserts.

Dacris CodeSnip
|
|
CodeSnip helps you to increase your daily coding efficiency. A programmer has often to look for snippets of reusable code especially when moving from a programming language to another, or even from one project to another.
With CodeSnip, you will no longer have to ask yourself "Where's that connection string I have been using?" or the few lines of code that were writing error messages to a log file. These will all be stored into your snippet repository, ready for use. You can find lots of snippets on the Internet. Just copy and paste the code, modify it and compile. But all this comes after searching for the right piece of code that you need on sites on the Internet and you are lucky if you place a bookmark in your Explorer for later reference. Use CodeSnip to save the code you've found, name it, describe it and modify it to suit your needs. Create bricks for your on-going construction.
With CodeSnip you can load snippet repositories stored locally or from sources on the Internet. Dacris Software will provide such snippet repositories on this site. You can share your snippets of code with others by e-mailing snippet repositories, uploading repositories on the Internet, publishing your repositories on our site.
With CodeSnip you can download any number of snippet repositories and re-organize them according to your current needs. Adjust the code and save it, remove the snippets you do not need to use now, re-shape the snippets tree with different categories.

Dalby Source Printer for Clarion
|
|
Dalby Source Printer for Clarion gives you a general view over your Clarion project that you have never had before.
You can print your source code with syntax highlighting and you can format the layout of the page completely. Best of all, if you develop based on templates, you can designate that you only want to print your cusom code such as windows, reports and embeds. Embeds are neatly headlined and you report is reduced to a minimum.
Dalby Source Printer can be used to print any textfile. The page and text formatting options make Dalby Source Printer very strong even if you are not printing Clarion files.
Dalby Source Printer has just been released in version 5.1. The only difference between version 5 and version 5.1 is that the latter version does not produce the useless TESTOUT.DSP file when printing. Skipping this file also gives a significant performance increase. If Dalby Source Printer does not print out embedpoints correctly, check if Clarion is set up to generete embed point comments. Dalby Source Printer rely on those to identify embedpoints.
You may redistribute Dalby Source Printer without charge as long as the whole package is redistributed unmodified and Dalby Data is clearly stated as supplier and copyrightholder and as long as no profit is made.
Dalby Source Printer is free to use, but no party may profit on Source Printer directly or indirectly without Dalby Data's written permission.
