This is a very plain and simple installer, which programmers can use to distribute their applications. It simply copies the application files to a chosen folder, and optionally adds a shortcut to the Windows Start menu. It does not add anything to the registry.
Clean and simple. Using this installer will give your application only 19kb overhead!

CharProbe

CharProbe allows you to easily find and automatically copy: ASCII Codes, HTML Codes, Virtual Key Codes. You just press a key and the appropriate code is automatically found in the table, and copied to the clipboard. No more annoying hunting on the web for the code you need! CharProbe is a must have for developers and webdesigners.
You can also export custom tables to TXT or HTML to print them. These tables will contain only the items you choose, so they won't contain characters you will never need.
Contains number system convertor, so you can easily convert between decimal, hexadecimal, octal and binary numbers.
You can get ASCII code of any character and virtual key code of any key you press. Just press the key and CharProbe will automatically get it's code and copy it to the clipboard.
It's also possible to copy Virtual Key Code constant declaration ready to use in various programming languages.
CharProbe can be minimized to system tray. CharProbe is simply very fast and useful utility.

Chessboard Component

The Chessboard component v3.03 for Delphi 2-7 and C++ Builder (or v 2.11 for C++ Builder only), is now available. The ChessBoard component provides a 2-Dimensional chessboard with a drag and drop interface that can keep track of a game and allows full customization of the bitmaps for the pieces, squares and border. Optionally the board is resizable at runtime. All common chess events are implemented (OnLegalMove, OnIllegalMove, OnCapture, OnCheck, OnMate, OnStaleMate, OnDraw etc.)
Now the component includes the engine of Tom's Simple Chess Program and calculates using its own thread. Optionally it allows you to use your own custom engine instead as well. Just drop a Chessbrd component on a form and you are very close to a complete multithreaded chess application. A Delphi example project has been included to demonstrate the common features.
The Chessboard Component may be freely used by anyone.
The software contains source code extracted from Tom Kerrigan's Tom's Simple Chess Program which is an interesting approach to a chess engine because of its romantic style of play and the little code it pertains.

Chilkat RT Compress

Chilkat RT Compress is a free COM component offering real-time memory-to-memory compression and decompression. Unlike other Chilkat components, RT Compress is not a full ActiveX control callable from any language, but is instead a simple COM component callable from C++. It currently implements the LZO compression algorithm provided by Markus Oberhumer, although future versions may include other algorithms.

Chilkat SSL

Chilkat SSL is a free COM component that makes it extremely easy to communicate securely over a TCP socket using either the SSLv3 or TLSv1 protocols. This component is designed to be used by C++ applications, and cannot be used from Visual Basic or ASP.
This product includes software developed by the OpenSSL Project for use in the OpenSSL Toolkit (http://www.openssl.org).

Chilkat XML
|

Chilkat XML offers a high-performance alternative to the standard XML DOM
for creating, navigating, and manipulating XML documents. The Chilkat XML
parser is faster and less memory intensive, and the API is much simpler.
There is only one interface, which represents a single node in a parsed XML
document. A node can contain a tag, attributes, content, and 0 or more child
nodes.
The Chilkat XML parser is a non-validating parser, which is intentional for
two reasons: to maximize performance, and to allow documents containing errors
to be loaded and fixed. Chilkat XML contains a property, "ValidatingParser",
which when set to TRUE causes Chilkat XML to use the standard Microsoft XML
DOM parser, so you can compare the performance between the two or simply
validate the XML if desired.
Chilkat XML is intended for use with data-oriented documents, and not for
HTML-like documents that use XML to simply markup text.
