ASCII Key Show'er

Format: Win 9X/ME
The Ascii Key Show'er (AKS) is a freeware program that MSC has created. While the program is running if you type any of the standard key combinations from your keyboard it will display both the ansi and ascii codes for that key. In the example shown here the letter "a" was pressed. You can also show the codes for SHIFTed and control key (CTRL) combinations. This program will NOT show you ALT key codes.

AscPrt

AscPrt is a little utility, mainly aimed at programmers. It will print out the ACII table from 33 to 255. In this way you can find the ASCII value for any character in any given font. This is useful for testing for certain key presses.

This is a super-fast, low-memory usage, XML parser specifically designed
to be used server-side in ASP scripts. It provides the same methods and properties
as Chilkat XML, but specially packaged for ASP.
Features
- Simple DOM for navigating, modifying, and creating XML documents.
- Handles large files quickly and efficiently.
- When enabled, can eliminate invalid or binary character data that causes
most other parsers to fail.
- Works with the Chilkat Charset Convert component to convert XML data
to another encoding in one line of code.

Astrology Source Code

Here is public domain source code that any would-be programmer/astrologer can use as the core for any sort of astrology program a person wants to make. This source code uses the Astrodienst Swiss Ephemeris to do all planetary and house calculations. Please see Astrodienst's web page for the details of the Swiss Ephemeris license and other documentation.
AstroSrc contains natal chart interpretations, daily transit interpretations, single and dual chartwheels, two types of keyword features, 7 different house systems, my AstroLine graphic planetary display, a meanings form that allows you to select and read various natal interpretations for any planet in a house, sign, or aspect, plus any rising sign, a natal chart report writer, a daily transit report writer, plenty of option settings, help files, a Tip of the Day feature, and an astrology font that can be used in any word processor application. Since this is free source code, there is currently no automatic atlas feature in the program, except the ability to interface with the ACS DOS atlas. There are geographic lists of about 2300 cities, though.
The source code here given is perhaps not written like they teach in colleges of computer science. Okay, I am an engineer first and a programmer second. It may not be fancy or elegant, but it works. And it works well.
