Calculator
|
|
This calculator is a computer implementation of an electronic hand calculator.
It offers the following additional features:
A history pane offering the versatility of a control tape ("tally roll"). You can copy the contents of this pane and paste it into your favorite word processor for printing.
You can paste numbers into the main display and you can act upon them as if you typed them yourself.
The value stored in memory is permanently visible in a separate memory display and immediately reflects any changes made to memory.
The actual value of the main as well as memory display can be copied for use in another application such as a spreadsheet.
Entries can be corrected:
either entirely by clicking [CE] or pressing [Delete] on your keyboard
or partially by using the backspace key.
You can select whether results are rounded (zero or two decimals) or not (floating decimal separator).
Calculator uses automatically the decimal separator selected in Windows' regional settings.
Independently from memory, you can set a number to use as a constant. You can then perform instant multiplications or divisions by this constant. This is particularly useful to quickly convert currencies.

Calculator
|
|
Karen's Calculator is a high-precision calculator. Unlike ordinary calculators, it returns completely accurate results, even with operands containing thousands of digits. If you're patient, operands and results containing hundreds of thousands of digits are possble too!
Most calculators are only accurate when dealing with numbers containing a few digits -- usually 16 to 32. When asked to calculate using larger numbers, they either fail (displaying an error) or return results that are only approximately accurate.
Karen's Calculator can easily handle numbers and results containing many thousands of digits with complete accuracy. It also includes an on-screen "tape" -- which can be saved to disk -- versatile memory features, and more!

Calculator
|
|
A calculator program in which you type out the expression rather than hitting buttons. Easier to use and faster than the calculator that comes with Windows. For instance, you can type in something like (pi*12/4+3^(5-2)+3*(2-(6-3)*pi)), then hit enter, and it will produce the answer.

Calculator Pro
|
Calculator Pro is a calculator tool for windows like a common pocket
calculator. Calculator Pro gives you the possibility to calculate
substantial mathematical terms in an easy and efficient way. Therefore
Calculator Pro supports a lot of mathematical functions like
trigonometric, hyperbolic functions etc.
The advantage of the Calculator Pro compared with the other calculators
like the Standard Windows Calculator for example, is that you can see
the term you want to solve and you can combine almost an arbitrary
amount of single functions. To keep that term clearly arranged the
Calculator Pro support brackets.
An addition, the Calculator Pro contains a list of more than 50
mathematical and scientific constants. These constants can be handled
in the term like numbers and can be entered direct form a popup menu.
At the first sight Calculator Pro is really not looking like a
calculator and least of all like a pocket calculator. So Calculator Pro
seems to be a little unconventional calculator tool that looks like a
text editor. But indeed it is not unconventional, maybe a little
uncommon. The reason for that is that the Calculator Pro is based on a
multi-line text box. In this text box you enter your term and solve it
just by press the Enter-button. That’s it! The advantage of the
multi-line text box is that you got a calculation history just by
scroll the text box up.
Since the first version of Calculator Pro came up in 2003 I added many
new functions meanwhile. Some of them were inspired by constructive
criticism and special wishes of users. Amongst others it is now
possible to add user-defined constants. It is also new that one can
switch the angular dimension between degree and radian. Another new
feature is the virtual keyboard. This input assistant offers buttons
for functions, constants etc. to paste them into the calculators text
box. And finally that virtual keyboard gave the calculator little more
a look like a conventional pocket calculator!

Calculator.NET
|
Calculator.NET is an enhanced version of the standard calculator in Microsoft Windows. Calculator.NET uses RPN (Reverse Polish Notation), which is used by many pocket calculators, e.g. from Hewlett-Packard. If you have used a HP 28/32/42/48, or any other RPN calculator, you will feel right at home. Some of the enhancements included: RPN, extended function set, and customizable user interface.
Note: Requires the Microsoft .NET Framework.
