Solar Mountains is a software program for companies and associations. Some functions are: double entry bookkeeping, (customer) relationship management and management information.
By program installation the following options are available:

1-4a Ratio Calculator

It calculates 2 numbers, where the second number is dependant on the first
by a certain ratio.
It also shows some other info, like the area as % compared to the row you
click on, the divisors of height and width, etc.
It is only a calculator. You cannot edit or change files with it.
WHO NEEDS THAT?
Everybody, who needs to calculate video heights/widths/areas...
I needed it to calculate legal aspect ratios, after cropping a few lines
from the bottom.
You may also need it, if you want to have a certain area (say about 1 million
pixels) and a certain width/height ratio and you need to find the width and
height.

1099-B Importer

1099-B Importer is a free solution to convert stock transactions found in .csv files into .txf files that can be used with most tax software.
When you make a lot of stock trades, getting your 1099-B cost basis information into your favorite tax software can be a time-consuming task. TurboTax and TaxCut support direct 1099-B downloading from only a limited number of brokers. They also allow you to import stock transactions as a .txf but most brokers don't offer this file format. With no good import solution, you could thus spend hours manually entering each trade you made during the year.
This is where 1099-B Importer comes in handy. It converts the .csv provided by your broker into a .txf file that can be easily imported in your tax software.

1D Stock Cutter Free

1D Stock Cutter is a powerful, quick, compact, easy to use and universal tool for those users who need to optimize cutting of any linear material, say, metal rebars, tubes, extrusions, lineal wood, etc.
Typically, optimizer reduces stock material waste by a factor of 5 - 15 (from about 10% to about 1%) with respect to manual cut planning. Program run time is around 1?100 seconds on a Pentium-166 PC, depending on the number of items involved. Any case it saves time and reduces a level of experience required for cut planning significantly.
The program solves so called 'One-dimensional Bin Packing Problem' (1DBPP) - optimizes the distribution of any number of pieces, having mostly different lengths, amongst a number of larger uniform or different stock lengths in order to minimize the material waste, or as a version - associated material cost.
Actually, term "Stock Material Length" may be associated with a real Length of, say, stock bars, profiles, pipes, wood boards / beams, or with real total Width of stock rolls, which have to be cut into different more narrow rolls (1D cutting cases), as well as associated with the container to load Weight (1D packing case), or any other measure of limited capacity.
Program limits (free version) are as follows:
- maximum total number of pieces to cut out is 50;
- maximum total number of stock items to use is 3000;
- maximum number of different piece sizes is 5;
- maximum number of different stock sizes is 10;
1D Stock Cutter can run under Windows 95/98/NT/2000.. on common PCs beginning with 486/DX2-66 with 800*600 or higher resolution SVGA monitor.
Pentium-166 or higher recommended for comfortable use.
