ABC is an improved client for the Bittorrent peer-to-peer file distribution solution. ABC is based on BitTornado 0.2.0 which extended from from Original Bittorrent Core System , coded by Bram Cohen.

For Windows 2000/XP/2003
In the program you operate with the accounts list or single object. User accounts list is the container. It contains list of all accounts determined for the given computer. All accounts presents as three lists (user accounts, local groups and global groups). Having chosen the necessary list, you get access to corresponding functions. Functions are concentrated in the menu "Action" on the "Properties" tab. The given menu dynamically changes during work with different types of accounts and is duplicated as contextual at a selected object in the list. The mechanism of a choice of accounts in the list is completely similar to the mechanism of a choice in "Explorer".
On the given list accessible following actions:
- To change a name. For editing used the "In place" technique.
- Creation of the new account.
- Removal of the existing account or group of accounts. Attention! Removal of the single account is occur without confirmation.
- Import accounts from a file, export accounts in a file.
User account, group - the given objects corresponding to the classical account of operational system MicrosoftR Windows NT. Especially it would be desirable to note, the "Logon Hours" parameter of the account are accessible for accounts on the local workstations. It happens conveniently when it is necessary to limit an operating time of users on the single computer which is not included in the domain. All changes inure only after pressing the "Apply" button. Exception makes action "Reset password".
In a user form included the most popular data. If the additional data are necessary for you, you can always use standard tools of operational system. Forms of global and local groups are practically identical and intuitively obvious.

For Windows 2000/XP/2003
The access control lists (ACL) management in the given software product is based on a different approach from the standard. It is expressed in more convenient data presentation, according to their real arrangement in ACL. You can set object permissions as is determined at a level operational system. All flags are accessible to you, and their names same as in the technical documentation. You can read in more detail about each flag of access in corresponding references or to take advantage of the built-in assistant. You can keep ACL in a file of format XML and then use it repeatedly.
ACL control is beginning from a choice of the necessary list:
- DACL - access control;
- SACL - audit control;
- Owner - change of the owner.
DACL and SACL control is similar, however you cannot keeps SACL in a file.
Note, if you will choose options "Clear DACL for child object and set inherited flag" and will press "Apply" button, all lists of DACL will be cleared (depending on a choice - either only for the current contents of a folder or recursively for all subfolders) and take place compulsory setting of the inheritance permitted flag. Setting of "NO_PROPAGATE_INHERIT_ACE" flag is stopping propagation of inheritance (equivalently to setting of an option "No propagate inherit ACE" in "Wizard"). Pay attention to a flag "Delete Child Object", it is not present in the standard ACL control tools, however it has great value in control of the removal rights. More in detail about this flag you can read in the corresponding documentation.
