What do you do when you need to upload files out of a directory at intervals? Sure, there are several FTP programs out there, but most of them are pretty large, and are made for attended FTPs. What this FTP program does is very simple. It allows you to configure a directory, a server to ftp to, and an e-mail address. Using the windows scheduler, you can schedule a job for the program using the /run: parameter. Then when the job executes, everything in the local directory is uploaded to the remote directory, and an e-mail stating the success or failure of the job is sent.

Automachron works under Win95/98, NT4, Win2000 and WinXP. Automachron supports SNTP as well as TIME (both UDP and TCP) for synchronizing time over the internet. Automachron is much less intrusive than its predecessor Netdate.

Avarice

Avarice is a free program that allows you to download just about
anything. Based on Bottler, Avarice is a fully-skinnable multi-server
IRC client that allows for simplified XDCC access.
All around the world, hundreds of IRC (Internet Relay Chat) servers are
awaiting your connection. These servers have thousands of channels with
millions of users. Many of these channels are used to transfer files.
With an IRC client, you can join one of these servers and monitor their
channels for files to download. With Avarice, you can join all of the
servers and have it watch the channels for you. When it finds a
downloadable file, it adds it to a list.
All you have to do is click on the file you want to download from the
list. It's as easy as it gets. And, unlike other file ditribution
methods, like BitTorrent, Avarice gives you maximum speed right away -
without using all of your upload speed.

What is aWebVisit ?
It's a Perl5 script that analyses WWW logfiles for visitor information like the :
- most commonly used ENTRY points into the website
- most commonly used EXIT points from the website
- most commonly used TRANSIT points in the website
- most commonly used HIT & RUN points of the website
- most frequently followed internal LINKS
- average DURATION of each visit
- average number of PAGES viewed PER VISIT
- average TIME SPENT on each page
- path of the LONGEST VISIT (in time and/or hits)
The reports are generated in HTML format for easy viewing.

Awhois

"AWhois" simply stands for "another whois".It is a simple whois-client that establishes a TCP connection to any of the servers supplied by the application.It supports servers which comply with the RFC 954 rules.
Currently the application supports 230 servers all over the world:
- .com 20 servers
- .edu 50 servers
- .gov 16 servers
- .org 1 server
- .net 25 servers
- .mil 2 servers
- .ac - .za 116 servers
In order to make the program run you need at least a 386 CPU, 8 MB RAM ,a mouse and of course a modem and an internetaccount. As operating system at least Windows 95 or WindowsNT 3.51 is required. You also need to have Winsock 2.0 installed on your system.
This program is freeware,but not public domain.
