CDPlay

CDPlay is a CD player with the following features:
- Fits into 44k of memory (Unless you have a 32k page size)
- Doesn't take up any icon bar space. Adjust clicking on the CD Drive icon open/closes the main window
- The main window automatically resizes itself so it is just large enough to hold all the tracks
- Can handle multiple CDROM drives
- Has Random and Program play modes
- Stores track names to disc
- Has the 4 usual time display formats
- Supports volume control
- Is fully configurable
- Can read in SmartCD V2.0 CD listing files
Also available for CDPlay is a listing file containing over 1500 different CD descriptions, and a small program to convert QwikCD listing files to a format CDPlay can then read in.

CDrun

CDrun is an attractive freeware skinnable Audio CD player for Windows.
It resides in a system tray and doesn't use the huge amount of memory and CPU time.
It is small but has everything you need to play the music. And it is freeware.

This is a stand alone program. It's a CD player that has just what you need. This is not one of my creations but, I was so impressed with it that I asked if I could feature it here on my site. The layout is just right, no clutter and everything that you would want in a CD player. I have added some skins that I made for it called dbd-Gold, dbd-Silver and dbd-rainbow. It starts with the default skin but it's very easy to go in and change it if you want to.

CDX

CDX is a bare bones audio CDROM player. During initialization, CDX looks for a sound card, the first CDROM drive on your system, and the presence of an audio CDROM. Having satisfied the above criteria, CDX is ready to go.
Toss CDX on a floppy along with your other utilities and enjoy!
