This is a very small application that uses Windows Media Player (WMP) but doesn't have all the unnecessary extras that WMP or the new Winamp does.
This program can import M3U playlists that are exported by WMP and PLS playlists from Winamp and other applications. It can also export M3U or PLS playlists. You can drag and drop files onto the player, play individual songs or playlists and more. All the features you need and nothing that you don't. It can play every format that WMP does, including videos. CJD MediaCentre saves it's workspace and will open with the same screen as when closed. . The version for WMP9 has the new style player (application is the same) and can access more file formats (codecs) included with WMP9. Please contact me with any bugs or suggestions for future versions. The player requires VB6 runtime files which are included in the Installation Wizard if not installed on your machine.

Complete Media Player is a highly simple player which not only plays music, but also allows you to watch videos and compile playlists. However, what is annoying is that there's no codec pack - you have to install each one separately depending on what you are watching. In a way, this is good because having too many codecs can slow a player down but ultimately, it's very tedious to insert a new DivX file and find out that you are lacking a specific codec. The play controls are very basic - there is shuffle, repeat and start, stop fast forward and rewind functions. And you can also watch your videos in full screen mode either by right clicking or using the basic file menu at the top.

Control your Winamp 2.xx remotely, through TCP/IP

This is one of my first programs made for Winamp. Please ignore the ugly design! :) But it is quite useful, change song, change volume, set shuffle and so on. Server is not a plug in, but just a program that is needed to run in the background. The source is old, and I cannot find it, please do not ask for it! :)
