AstroClock

The AstroClock is a program that uses your computer's clock to calculate the exact position for all the planets in the sky at your locality and displays the chart on a beautiful horoscope wheel on screen. You are given choices to select from many different wheels and colors that we have already designed. The program will also calculate transiting planets, planets ingress in signs and planets changing direction for future dates.
It is a small program that will run in the background yet allowing you to bring the horoscope up onto the screen at any time to see exactly where all the planets and the angles are for the moment.

Use your PDA to acquire your GPS position and send it through an SMS.
The GPS position is update every 5 seconds (in order to conserve energy).
SMSs can be sent automatically at regular time intervals.
You can also view the trail of GPS positions where you were. The trail is updated once per minute.
The following power saving modes are available: none, manual, auto.

Astrolog is relatively unique in astrology software for the following reasons: (1) It's 100% freeware. :) (2) It runs on multiple platforms, such as DOS, Windows, Mac, and Unix. (3) The full source
code is available. (4) Features are accessible from the command line and from shell scripts. (5) It offers many features not found in most other programs.

Here you can see complete feature list of original Astrolog 5.40.
Alois Treindl modified Astrolog 5.30 and 5.40 and named new versions 5.31 and 5.41. They contains the new Swiss Ephemeris, more precise and quick than older Placalc ephemeris. The responsibility for this modification is with Alois Treindl.
This page is oriented to changed version of very popular freeware astrology program Astrolog by Walter D. Pullen (Astara@msn.com), but you can find here something else. Last changed version is 5.41G (at May. 18th 2002).

Astrologer Free is a program for those who know and for those who don't know astrology at all. With Astrologer Free you can make the natal horoscope and read the interpretations, of any person's born between years 1900 to 2100. The functionality of the program is very simple. You just enter the birthdate and if you know the time and the place of a person and pressing the button Interpretation. Then you have in your screen the aspects of the planets and the signs with links to read your interpretations. The program comes with a small help page inside to explain you how it works.
