Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie
|
An Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie (AFDB) is a type of headwear that can shield your brain from most electromagnetic psychotronic mind control carriers. AFDBs are inexpensive (even free if you don't mind scrounging for thrown-out aluminium foil) and can be constructed by anyone with at least the dexterity of a chimp (maybe bonobo). This cheap and unobtrusive form of mind control protection offers real security to the masses. Not only do they protect against incoming signals, but they also block most forms of brain scanning and mind reading, keeping the secrets in your head truly secret. AFDBs are safe and operate automatically. All you do is make it and wear it and you're good to go! Plus, AFDBs are stylish and comfortable.
What are you waiting for? Make one today!

Anagram Artist
|
Anagram Artist is an anagram creation tool, aimed primarily at
facilitating the construction of medium to long anagrams but also
functioning as a potent aid to short anagramming.
- Letter frequencies and vowel percentage bar graphs with visual
warnings for abundant and sparse letters.
- Suggested word list, showing words that can be formed from the
remaining letters, sorted by their "goodness" (degree to which they
make the remaining letters easier to deal with).
- Sophisticated filtering functions. Suggested words can be
restricted to:
- words having a particular prefix or suffix
- words that contain a certain set of letters
- words that rhyme with a given word (on either the last syllable
or last two)
- synonyms of a given word
- words that are a certain part of speech (noun, verb, adjective,
etc.)
- words with a certain number of syllables and a specified stress
pattern
- words with low or high vowel percentage
- words with a low or high vowel-per-syllable value
- Continuous updates: just type your anagram, and all displays,
including suggested words, are automatically updated.
- Special "tweak mode" that lets you massage a partly-complete
anagram to make the rest of it easier to complete.
- When the "endgame" is reached (i.e. the number of unused letters
is small), a built-in multi-word anagram finder is available for
knocking off those last few letters.
- File load and save, with "=" automatically added during save and
removed during load.
- Functions to copy unused letters, or completed anagram, to
clipboard.
- FIND function in both (original and anagram) windows.
- Ability to use any installed system font for the three main text
windows.
- Want to do a million-letter anagram? No problem! Size of anagram
text is basically unlimited.

Anagram Finder
|
|
An anagram of a word or phrase is the result of rearranging its letters to form another meaningful word or phrase. For example, an anagram of "anagram finder" is "garden in a farm" (work it out!).
This page describes, in Unix manual page style, a C++ program available for downloading from this site which finds English language anagrams for a phrase. The program is available as source code compatible with any current C++ compiler or as a ready-to-run 32-bit Windows executable.
Anagrams are generated based on the official dictionary (second edition) of that crossword game whose name you cannot mention without having lawyers burst out of your screen brandishing menacing documents, courtesy of Grady Ward's Moby Words compilation. We search the dictionary in decreasing order of word length, as longer words tend to produce more interesting anagrams. Only alphabetic characters are considered in anagrams, and accented characters are "flattened" by removing the accents.
Users may create their own dictionaries from word lists; this permits supporting other languages and vocabularies, for example, using only words which appeared in the works of Shakespeare.

Anagram Word Finder
|
|
I wrote this program as sometimes I just needed to figure out some of the anagrams that I couldn't solve in the daily newspaper. Plus it helps me get experience with various programming languages and development environments.
This program requires the DICTION.TXT file which is basically a text file sorted in ascending order. This program also creates a data file called ANAGRAMW.DAT which is used to store information about the dictionary file.

Anagrams
|
This tiny website is devoted to creating anagrams in a user-friendly way. In my experience some time ago, just scribbling on a piece of paper worked a bit but nothing like a computer program to help you on your way and make sure your anagram is correct.
After downloading and running, you'll have 3 fields and a Randomize button. Enter the source text (where you want to make an anagram from) in the top edit control. Then press TAB or click inside the 'Anagram' edit control and type the anagram. While typing, the 'Remaing letters' text box will be updated to show what letters still remain. That should help focus on the rest of your anagram.
You'll need Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP/2003 or above
