BeatSpeed
|
|
BeatSpeed is dedicated to my passion for playing drums. As I'm a huge fan of technical playing I have developed a drum speed measurement software for Windows XP, which I call "BeatSpeed". It helps you to observe your playing abilities in terms of speed, control and endurance.Beatspeed records and displays the number of strokes you play in a certain amount of time. The measurement automatically starts as soon as you hit the drum. After recording time has elapsed the final count remains fixed and is shown in lighter color. New records are displayed in red color. Every result will be added to the score list on the right of the user interface.
Beatspeed offers two basic triggering options, Audio and MIDI. You can use an acoustic drum trigger and connect it to your computers soundcard input or if you have an electronic drum or any other MIDI capable device you can connect it via a MIDI interface to your computer.ce.

|
BeebEm is a BBC Micro and Master 128 emulator. It enables you to run BBC Micro software on your PC. BeebEm was first developed for UNIX systems in 1994 by David Gilbert (Dave's page) and was then ported to Microsoft Windows.
To run the latest Windows version of BeebEm you will need Windows 98 or later. The UNIX version will run on most UNIX based systems and Linux (the Windows version also runs quite well on Linux under “wine”). The full source code for BeebEm is included in the downloads.
BeebEm will run most BBC Micro software including Elite, Exile and Revs. It will also run most BBC Micro ROM software (e.g. Wordwise).
The software page has links to sites where you can download software. You can also download OddJob, a previously unreleased game for the BBC Micro.

Beer Designer PRO
|
Beer Designer PRO is the ultimate homebrewing freeware for Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME, XP.
Calculate malt-composition, bitterness and water-adjustment. This program can handle the most common units as kg, lbs, OG, Plato, EBC, SRM etc, and volumes up to 8000 litres or 2000 gallons.

All properties for malt, hops and water are adjustable, as name, malt color, alpha acid etc. Beer Designer PRO including an info-database with malts, hops, yeasts, breweries etc. Search with including or exluding keywords and wildcards.
It is also possible to find old recipes in the same way.

Note that this program is intended to help you become more realistic about your predictions, so being off in either direction is just as bad!
