Abashera revamped
|
|
Abashera revamped is an addictive 3D first person IQ adventure maze game made by the visionary artist Max Magnus Norman.
There are no guns, no weapons, no tedious bosses. You must rely on your intelligence to survive. There's no linear plot, you choose from session to session which mazes you shall explore. The missions vary: Kill all beasts, kill no beasts, find the Holy Grail or find the Ark of the Covenant, pick a certain number of diamonds, mushrooms, flowers, strawgoats or eggs, etc. The mazes are populated with a number of more or less smart critters such as: Commie Dogs and Capitalist Dogs, The One Who Sees, Blocker Frogs, Monobites, the deadly The One Who Hears and many more. You will have to be a real Theseus, study the monster's behaviour in order to outsmart them and survive.
The in-game music is popcornish electro pop MP3 music. Four full length tracks are included, one with lyrics.
I've decided to give away the complete version of Abashera revamped for free. That's more than 50 mazes (for a complete level list see the FAQ) and the Maze Editor with which you without restrictions may easily design your own mazes for the world to explore.

AbcPuzzles
|
|
Free games and logic puzzles are fun for games lovers. AbcPuzzles is one of them, it offers two variations of puzzles on tile-based games. Each uses the same basic engine, in which you move the tiles in groups of four or more by spinning them with the control located in the corner where four tiles touch. Much like Rubik's Cube in two dimensions, the games are harder than they first look since you must get the tiles properly aligned without disrupting your previous work. AlterJig uses images, scrambling the inner blocks but leaving the outside one intact. Five images are provided, and your own properly formatted bitmaps can be used to create your own puzzles. Cyclanoid is similar, but your task is to arrange the tiles in rows to match the icons displayed along the game-area border.

Ablaze
|
|
Ablaze is a well known and funny game-type which everybody knows. You have to kill all your enemies by placing bombs cleverly. When starting the game the players have all the same chances. During the game you can collect some extras. These extras may enlarge your range of explosions and the number of placeable bombs at once but they also may cause some temporary effects. These effects may be "double speed" or "invisibility" (kicks ass ;-) ). But there can't be only positive effects, so we created some extas you "won't like".. for example "slow motion", "no bomb", "flipped keys" or "the set-bomb-automatically-illness"...
We made Ablaze especially for multiplayer mode. The only single-player mode you will find is a "training" mode, which you may use to train your skills against some computer players before playing against other ablazers. There are three types of multiplayer-modes:
1. Internet game: You will find ablazers all over the world here...
2. LAN game: If you don't have internet access you can play in a local LAN using TCP/IP.
3. Hot Seat: This is a 2 player multiplayer-mode using one computer. You may decide if you use a joystick/gamepad or the keyboard to defeat your opponent..

and sets it in an online high intensity environment where
hundreds of players can battle it out with and against
each other. High fidelity air combat is the heart of
Aces High, but it doesn't end there. In addition to
flying a multitude of aircraft types, players can
also man vehicles, boats, amphibs, gun batteries,

Aces UP Solitaire
|
Easy but addictive little solitaire. Four cards are dealt-face up in a row. Look for two or more cards of the same suit and discard all but the highest card of that suit. Aces rank higher than kings, so if both are present and of the same suit, you would discard the king and keep the ace. When there are no more cards to discard, click on the deck to deal another row of four cards, each covering a card already on the board or an empty space once occupied by a previous card. Again, look for cards with the same suit and discard the lower ranking ones and keep the highest. Continue this process of dealing and eliminating cards until only the four exposed aces remain on the board. Good Luck!
OS: Windows 95/98/2000/Me/XP.
