Yes, it's remake time. My conversion is intended to be a faithful play-alike version of the original, so don't expect smooth scrolling or gouraud-shaded volumetric depth-cued mip-map-interpolated trilinear-filtered fluffy-dice rendering. You can see my initial enquiry on Sandy White's visitors' page.
I haven't been working on it very much lately, but what there is of it is available to all free of charge. I may release the source code, but since I've been doing this as a get-the-hang-of-C exercise, it may not be pretty.
I'm writing for Windows, using MinGW and Allegro.

3D Asteroids

This is the first game ever to convert the classic arcade game Asteroids to full 3D.
Many "3D" versions exist but are basically 2D games with nice 3D models and effects.
This game however puts you in the middle of a full three dimensional asteroid field.
It is one of a kind.

3D Froggy

The 3D Froggy is a logic game. The player's logic and combination abilities are tested on a 50 levels which is getting harder gradually. The 3D representation of the task is paired with a pleasant sight. 3D Froggy The player's task is to persuade the members of the frog colony (who are sitting on the rock) to jump into the waving water which is just in front of them. This may be achieved by completing series of steps according to the rules of the game. It counts as a regular step, if the player (with the chosen frog) reaches a rock by jumping over a rock or a frog which is next to him. Whether a step is regular or not is shown by the colour of the cursor (red) and the line showing the arc of jumping (green). Each member of the colony has a number above its head: 1, 2 or 3, which shows how many times the small amphibian should be jumped over before leaping into the water.
OS: Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP.

3D Maze

This program evolved out of my attempts to create a 4D maze. Because after all, how can one program a 4D environment if one can't program a 3D one? The program is very very simple. However it is somewhat challenging and fun as well. The objective is to navigate through this maze without colliding with a monster (These are represented by red spheres. Yes, I know it's not very advanced graphically...), and to obtain the three treasures (represented by blue spheres) and then find the exit and escape.
