2001 Alien Combat
2001 Alien Combat is a futuristic 3D combat game where you fight aliens in unarmed combat. The game features hi tech graphics and animation, plus excellent sound effects. We found the game to be excellent for this genre and the sound effects are terrific. You have an array of movements, including kicks and punches of various types, available to you through the numeric keypad (NumLock key must be on) and the normal arrow keys. The background scenery is like the rest of the game, high quality with good attention to detail. Probably more for the teenage player, 2001 Alien Combat well worth the download if you like unarmed combat-style games. System: Windows NT/95/98/2000

2006 Sliding Golf Tour
One of the popular puzzles in our E-Puzzle Books was the Golf puzzle, so we decided to change it into a whole new game. For those new to sliding golf, each hole is a puzzle where you don't so much shoot the ball as you do slide it around, avoiding obstacles and trying to get in into the cup. In the 2006 Sliding Golf Tour, you will find 5 courses (some 9 holes, others 18 holes). As you keep working at a course, trying to achieve par (or better), you will receive a course ranking. If you manage to hit a #1 ranking for the course, you will receive a prize.

A chess puzzle consisting of 24 numbered knights randomly distributed among 25 chessboard squares. The object is to move the knights into numerical order in the fewest possible moves. The puzzle may appear easy at first since many of the knights are already in their correct position, but solving it in the fewest number of moves will prove challenging. 31 for Windows
This is the computer version of the card game 31. The goal in 31 is to score as much points as possible with three cards. The player with the lowest amount of points after a round, receives a mark. When a player has collected a certain number of marks (i.e. four) he is out of the game. The last player remaining in the game wins.
If the game is played by only one player three opponents will be simulated. However, if you are connected to a network it is possible to play this game with some of your friends or colleagues.

Features:

  • Two variations are standard, Regular and van Eer-Maas (a little bit tougher). But also user definable variations are possible!
  • User definable variations. Make your own variation!
  • Two languages: English and Dutch.
  • Network and internet play.
  • User defined backgrounds for cards.
  • After 10 years, 31 for Windows is freeware again.

32-Bit Insulter
This was originally developed when someone asked if a Shakespearean insult generator was possible to make. I ended up a little out of control and created this after a few versions of the original idea. There's a system tray feature that looks the same as the MSN Messenger pop-up window that chucks insults at you after a user-configurable delay.

35 Card Solitaire
A delightful solitaire requiring more skill than may at first appear. The object is to eliminate all 35 cards from the initial card layout. Play proceeds by placing exposed cards from the layout onto the discard pile, provided their face value is one higher or lower than that of the discard pile. Kings tend to block the play as no card can be played upon them. You'll find that good judgment, a keen memory and just the right amount of luck are required to win this solitaire (which doesn't happen all too often!).

3D Ant Attack PC
Yes, it's remake time. My conversion is intended to be a faithful play-alike version of the original, so don't expect smooth scrolling or gouraud-shaded volumetric depth-cued mip-map-interpolated trilinear-filtered fluffy-dice rendering. You can see my initial enquiry on Sandy White's visitors' page.
I haven't been working on it very much lately, but what there is of it is available to all free of charge. I may release the source code, but since I've been doing this as a get-the-hang-of-C exercise, it may not be pretty.
I'm writing for Windows, using MinGW and Allegro.
