coOpera
|
Opera browser features a brilliant messaging client that includes POP3/IMAP e-mail client, NNTP news reader and RSS/Atom feed reader. The messaging client provides a convenient way of keeping track of information about people you communicate with.
However, if you are using Opera e-mail client, or just made an attempt to switch to it, you may have noticed that Opera has no particular support for importing contacts from other e-mail software. For example, migrating contacts from Microsoft Outlook is not easy.
In order to import your Microsoft Outlook contacts to Opera, you may need to use a tool that will save you a lot of time retyping the names and addresses from one address book into another one.
coOpera is such a tool. It helps to convert your Microsoft Outlook contacts to Opera format. All you need to do is export your Microsoft Outlook contacts to a CSV file, choose the contacts you would like to convert, and finally, import converted contacts to Opera browser. Everything else will be done automatically for you!
coOpera migrates all information that an Opera contact can store: contact name, e-mail addresses, postal addresses, phone and fax numbers, notes and website address.
coOpera is absolutely free for personal, non-commercial use.
coOpera works on Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista systems and requires Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your computer.

Corlive.com
|
Corlive.com is an alternative to e-mail. Only humans can send messages, so there is no spam (since spam relies on high-speed computer programs to spread). Also, there are no anti-spam filters, because they are not necessary.
Email is unreliable. Not because you have to spend valuable time reading spam, it's worse:
1. You can never be sure your email will be delivered due to "false positives" of the recipient's spam filters* and
2. You can never be sure important emails reach your mailbox, due to "false positives" in your spam filters.
Email is not reliable any more. It can't be. And will never be.
Computers, which are responsible for 99% of spam, can't autmatically send messages on Corlive.com. Only humans can, which means there is no spam problem on this service (CAPTCHA is automatically activated for users who send more messages than on average).
No more spam, no more undelivered emails, no more valid emails filtered out by your spam filter - no more emails!

Courex
|
Courex exports the contents of a Courier email client mailbox database (BOX file) to standard format files for email client migration or for archiving. Email messages are exported complete with integrated attachments. The Courier folder structure is preserved.
Courex exports email messages to standard eml and/or mbox files, directly into Thunderbird (one-step export-import), or as a Thunderbird format folder structure for transfer into non-Windows Thunderbird systems.
Although Courex has special features to support migration to Thunderbird, it's usefulness is certainly not limited to that client. Almost all email client applications can import from the eml/mbox format which, together with the fact that attachments stay attached to the message, makes it a very useful format for long-term archiving.
Courex also exports the Courier address book to a plain text comma-delimited Address.csv file. Courier already has this facility built-in, but Courex exports the fields optimised for import into Thunderbird. It is your choice whether to use the address book as exported by Courier or by Courex.
Courex also writes information it finds about Courier accounts to a plain text Accounts.txt file. This file can be used as a reminder of the correct server names, user names and passwords to use when entering account information into other client applications. This file cannot be used to import account information directly. Warning: The Accounts.txt file contains your passwords in plain text form.
You can also select whether to output files with DOS/Windows line terminators (CR/LF) or with Unix line terminators (LF only). This affects all files, including the Account.txt and Address.csv files. Use this option if you are migrating to a Unix/Linux system (or you can use it when exporting to Thunderbird for slightly smaller mailbox files - Thunderbird doesn't care what terminators are used).
Courex generally requires only the BOX file (but see next paragraph). No other files are required and the Courier application is not required to be installed on the system on which you are performing the export. If Courier is installed, it should not be running while using Courex.
