CallBack3
|
|
Do you have free incoming calls with your cellular phone? CallBack3 will let you make free calls from your cell if you have Caller ID and 3-Way calling on your home line!
CallBack3 is a communications utility that can call back a pre-assigned phone number when a particular incoming phone number occurs. CallBack3 will callback the pre-assigned phone number, let you enter a 3rd phone number and CallBack3 will initiate 3-way Calling.
Some Cellular Phone service plans allow for free incoming calls. Using this utility, you can make free cell phone calls.
Using the magic of Caller ID, Callback3 will callback your cell phone when it receives a call from your cell phone - without the phone ever being picked up! It will only call your cell phone if it see the correct Caller ID. After it calls your cell phone back, CallBack3 will let you place a 3-way call from your home phone using the number you dial from your cell. Since you now have an incoming call to your cell phone, your cell phone is not charged.
Requirements:
- Caller ID on your home line
- 3-Way calling service on your home line
- Free incoming call service on your cellular
- Computer with a TAPI modem with Caller ID connected to your home line

CallerID
|
|
One of the best improvements to the telephone in the last few years was the addition of CallerID - finally a way to avoid all those telemarketer calls and other less-desirable! :) Of course, it would be nice if the computer could help make a good thing better, and with that evolved AnalogX CallerID!
CallerID is a straight-forward, using any Unimodem/V-compatible voice modem that has Caller ID support, you can easily track incoming calls including; who is calling and their number (if available), how many calls have been received from this person, when the first call and when the last calls were logged, and more! The program can easily be run minimized on the system tray, with a special notification window that pops open when an incoming call is received (which will automatically close).

Carousel
|
|
Carousel is software to connect VoIP calls to ordinary telephone lines and vice versa using one of a number of professional telephony devices.
It works as a virtual FXO gateway. You install it as a service on any Windows PC. SIP protocol VoIP calls will be directed out to standard PSTN analog lines through the CAHTA, CallURL and Synway telephony boards (green line on diagram below). Likewise, calls made to a standard telephone line can be directed to an internal VoIP network configured with a virtual PBX (eg. Axon ) via a telephony device and the Carousel software (blue line on diagram below).
This is ideal for businesses that wish to take advantage of the emerging VoIP technology but still retain standard telephone line(s) for incoming and outgoing calls and where Broadband or a SIP Gateway providers are not available.

CE/DP Manager
|
CE/DP Manager is an MSN Messenger utility that makes managing custom MSN 6 content - emoticons and display pics - easier and faster. Bathing in a cool GUI that recreates the MSN 6 feel perfectly, it contains four seperate tools:
- CE Importer to add many custom emoticons to MSN quickly (4 emoticons per second);
- DP Importer to add many display pictures swiftly;
- CE Dispatcher makes it possible to export and share all your emoticons with someone (or another one of your accounts);
- Backup/Restore allows you to backup your current custom emoticons, display pictures and backgrounds (ideal for real messers or when completely re-installing MSN Messenger 6).
The two weeks of Sherv's hard work on the development of the CE/DP Manager are now rewarded with the MeSseNtial status.
Note: Don't forget to read the included .TXT files for instructions!

Cee
|
Cee is a program which started life as a front-end to manage the fortune cookie/quote database used by another one of my apps - Blog. But then I decided to enhance the features of Cee so that it would work like a fortune cookie program and a signature generator as well. Basically, you can use Cee to simply add, edit and delete the quotes that you use with Blog or you can use it to display a quote everytime you log into your computer or to generate a signature file to be used with your e-mail client.
Features
- The ability to maintain a database of quotes, sayings or any other piece of writing of interesting to you.
- Display a new quote (either randomly or sequentially) from the database each time you start your computer.
- The ability to display new quotes at timed intervals.
- The ability to use the quote database to generate signature files for the e-mail client of your choice.
