Blackout Monitor is a system tray application that warns Southern California Edison customers of impending rolling blackouts. The software runs quietly in the system tray checking the power status at scheduled times. If a rolling blackout appears to be in the near future for your zone Blackout Monitor can play both an audible alert and a popup message. For quick reference the status bar icon contains a small graphical scale for quick reference to the current power status.Blackout Monitor is shareware at the moment with no option to register since California is no longer in a power crisis. However if in the future the software becomes necessary again, the current free registration number will be canceled and sales will continue as they did in the past. So in the mean time please enjoy your free copy, and remember if you like my work please send some more work my way.

This is an Open Source GPL-licensed application made in Delphi. It's purpose is to replace the Windows Shell by a 3D-OpenGL interface.
Features:
- Using a rotating textured planet to access Internet browser
- A cubic shortcut that is textured with the associated icon
- A corridor with different ways to go if you want to shut down, reboot, log off or put your PC in stand-by mode.
- A kind of maze to browse your files
- A starting application is viewed through a 3D window created on-the-fly with app as texture
- A power panel thats monitors the AC Line and Battery status (in case of UPS or laptop on batteries).
- HUD with crosshair that gives you tooltip or hint on what is in sight or what can be used.
- Live real-time calendar and analog clock.
- 3D textured terrain if you wish to go outside your desktop. :)

Boot Screen contains four animated Windows XP/Vista boot screens, based on Stardock's BootSkin. (Unfortunately, if you've tried BootSkin 1.05a and found it doesn't work, neither will these screens.)

Bootskin

Stardock BootSkin is a program that allows users to change their Windows 2000 and Windows XP boot screens.
Unlike other programs that can change the Windows XP boot screens, BootSkin does so in a safe manner. It doesn't patch the Windows XP kernel. Nor does it require the user to download replacement Windows XP kernels to do so.
Boot screens that use BootSkin are typically under 20K compared to other boot screen programs whose files are over 2 MEGABYTES.
And best of all, BootSkin is free for non-commercial use.
