BrowserTools
This is a utility I wrote that enables you to add quick context-sensitive shortcuts to sites such as Google News Groups, Metacrawler, Britannica.com, and Dictionary.com. It works in the same way that the MS Power Toys add-on for Internet Explorer works. Comes with easy install/uninstall.

BrowserTraySwitch is a super tiny little system tray utility (only 90k) to help you quickly change your default browser. Just right-click to change your default browser - after that all launched files and urls will open in the selected browser. Want to just launch a specific browser once? Use the left click.
The icon of the tool shows the currently selected default browser. Double-click to launch the current default browser.

BrowseTo
Browse to is a little script I hacked together in order to launch highlighted text urls on a web page in a new window. I find that sometimes I will come across a unlinked URL somewhere like a email or a news article that I want to visit, but I'd rather not have to go through copying and pasting it into the browser address bar. Mozilla's Firebird browser, which I use most of the time, benefits from a nice extension call TextLinks, which does just this. I thought it was a shame that something like this did not exist for Internet Explorer, so I went about looking into creating one. And luckily, I was able to pull it off.

BrowseX
BrowseX is a free Open Source, cross-platform Web Browser, Mail Program, Talk/Chat client and more. There is a database interface, SQLite, and BrowseX is easily extensible via an API. BrowseX has been written primarily in C and Tcl and clearly demonstrates that Linux applications can indeed bridge to Windows. The user can also dynamically configure any widget, even form fields in web pages, on the fly using Shift-Control-mousebutton. You may also want to look at TML, a CGI and Web Script that BrowseX has built-in.

Browster for Firefox
Browster pre-fetches Web pages listed in search results and includes the
first instant page rendering capability. Users can then view this page, or
the entire web site in the Browster window. As users browse their search links, Browster's patent-pending LookAheadŽ technology displays the preview window as users roll their mouse over a link. Browster for Firefox is a revolutionary, secure, lightening fast way to preview web pages.
Note: Download includes both Internet Explorer and Firefox versions
