Auction Chief
|
Auction Chief makes you a more efficient eBay buyer by allowing you to
ignore auctions that you aren't interested in. Auction Chief let's you
concentrate on just the auctions that were posted since that last time
you looked. This technique is called smart searching.
- Auction Chief allows you set up multiple eBay searches that you
can group together and name.
- Auction Chief can snipe (bid at the last second) on multiple
auctions simultaneously.
- Auction Chief contains an integrated Internet browser that allows
you to perform eBay searches using Auction Chief.
- Auction Chief is now integrated with AuctionStealer, an online
sniping service.
- Auction Chief can export auction information to Microsoft Excel
so you can analyze or archive it.

Collector's rejoice! - announcing the hottest new tool for eBay.
Hi. I'm Neville Ridley-Smith and like many collectors, I used to spend hours scouring eBay. Hunting for those elusive bargains and keeping a look-out for rare items was almost an addiction. But it was taking too much time.
I thought to myself, "there has to be some way of filtering all this information."
So I did a search for some software and didn't find anything. "Time to write something myself", I thought. And that's what I did! At first the software did save some time but it could always do with improvements. So I added them. "Ah, now this is even better." Over time I've added and altered until one day I realised, "Hey - this software is pretty useful - maybe other people will want to use it..." and AuctionSieve was born!
Now you too can use AuctionSieve to find the real bargains on eBay and target the auctions you're really interested in.
So how does it work?
Just using search keywords is not enough. Let me tell you a secret - the real bargains are often hidden behind bad auction titles! But who has the time to wade through every item in an ebay category looking for these. There's always lots of stuff you know you're not interested in. What if you could instantly get rid of these things? That's what AuctionSieve does!
That's not all!
You're often still left with a mighty long list. And that's where AuctionSieve really goes to work. It prioritises the rest of the auctions according to your criteria - and it's a snap to set up!
All the items are -
- grouped in a recognisable way
- in order of importance
If you only have a short amount of time at the end of the day to check the closing auctions, you can just scan the important top few items in the generated list - drastically reducing your time spent searching eBay .
Still want to use just regular ebay searches? AuctionSieve can do that too. Save an unlimited number of searches. Combine the results from multiple searches.

Auto Copy
|
I'm sure the Clipboard is one of the most frequently used apps while browsing the web. This means that both the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V shortcuts are also the most used ones. But what if you could save yourself a few keystrokes each day?
With the Auto Copy Firefox Extension any text you select is automatically copied to the Clipboard without having to press the correspondent key combination each time. You can then configure the extension to copy the text anywhere on your browser (including text fields) with the mouse middle button, so there's no need to switch back and forth between the mouse and the keyboard.
Auto Copy is really a handy tool, one of those little helpers you can't live without once you get used to them. However, it still lacks some functionality: for example, I wasn't able to copy URL addresses from the Firefox address bar, and middle click pasting doesn't work outside Firefox.
With Auto Copy you can copy and paste text snippets in Firefox in a much easier way, though I missed some extended functionality that may hopefully be added in future versions.
Note: Problems with Firefox 3.0+ have been reported.

Auto Reset Browser
|
|
This is an extension that I started to make some years ago when I worked for a company. They had some kiosk computers that they let costumers surf at and they wanted an extension that reset the browser if it wasn't used for some time.
So that is what this extension does. If you don't move the mouse for a defined time the browser is restarted alternativ just closed. If you go into Tools -> Extensions and click option you can choose how long time the extension should wait before reseting the browser and also if you want it to restart the browser of just close it. Some kiosk OS restart the browser on its own if you just close it so I added that as an option.
