This is software conceived with the notion of being able to track and
tally one's consumption of the basic diet factors: calories, fat, sugar, cholesterol, and carbohydrates. This information is usually always found on food labels sold in the U.S.A.
A basic food list is provided at software set-up. However, with the food list editor more foods can be added and customized against desired serving size.
Once a thorough food list is established, menus can
be set for given periods. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner,
and Snack menus can be saved and totaled for individual
days of the week or by more general periods: daily,
weekday, and weekend.
The "Points" category is based on the Weight Watchers
system.
Dietfacts.com is a good resource for finding out
nutrition information on both market and restaurant
foods. A PDF file is provided that lists the
diet properties of several foods.
