Have you ever had problems with eye strain or headache when looking at your monitor?
If the answer is yes, this little utility may be of great use to you. When installed, it sits in your system tray (the area where system time is usually displayed). Every given minutes a screen pops up with a message to rest your eyes, i.e. by looking at another object in the room for a few seconds). To help "reminding" you, For My Eyes Only can optionally minimize all your open windows on appearance and restore them after it's gone. Right-clicking on the tray icon brings up a small menu where you can show the message window, adjust the preferences, pause the program, view some info on the program or exit. At present you can adjust the time interval of the message appearance (in minutes) and whether it should minimize all open windows. The option to run on startup will (perhaps) be added in a future version.
The idea for this program came after I had seen LookAway v1.1 of a Norwegian author. I decided to improve it and reduce the memory footprint. The result is in front of you.
I should add I use it daily in my work and it's helped me a lot with the mentioned issues. I hope it works that way for you too.
