CLC Free Workbench creates a software environment enabling users to make basic bioinformatics analyses and smooth data management, combined with excellent graphical viewing and output options.
The software package is a community edition, available for download free of charge.
Other bioinformatics workbenches from CLC bio are built on top of CLC Free Workbench , and therefore have the same work environment, the same user interface and the same framework for graphical viewing. Data are fully and seamlessly transferable from one type of workbench to another.
