Coronary heart disease risk calculator (ActiveX control) available on this site for the Windows platform.
The risk calculator allows the rapid estimation of a patient's 5 year and 10 year cardiac risk. This information can be used to aid management decisions and to motivate a patient.
This control is present in the GP Desk program.
If the CHD Risk calculator does not automatically download itself, you can download the ActiveX control itself: CHDRisk1.ocx.
Place the control in the folder of your choice. Then register the control by entering the following from the command line:
regsvr32 c:/FolderOfYourChoice/CHDRisk1.ocx
The control will then display normally when you open this web page.
