Bottin is a directory software. It allows you to remember a lot of information about peoples, like an address book, but can keep much more information in order to help you to manage your contacts. Bottin maintains information in files which can contain 20000 subscribers each. For each subscriber, you can supply the following information :
·Name, first name and civility (Mr, Mrs, Miss or other)
·Comments, to add comments on the subscriber
·Profession
·Company, or organization, and department the subscriber is working in
·Subscribers’ birth date and saint’s day, and other feast dates
·Subscriber’s photo
·Subscriber’s voice in a sound sample
·Default photo to be displayed in you haven’t subscriber’s photo.
·Brief notes about the subscriber
·Subscriber’s phone numbers (cf. below)
·Subscriber’s addresses (cf. below)
·Alarms allowing to warn you for the subscriber’s anniversary and to remember you something about the subscriber on a chosen date
·Folder allowing you to specify various information about the subscriber
·Lists the subscriber is in, allowing you to classify the subscribers according to various criteria
·Security keys (like PGP) and passwords connected with the subscriber
·Allow printing as default indication
You can specify as many as 1000 phone numbers, 1000 addresses and 1000 security keys for each subscriber. The maximum number of lists in a file can’t be over than 64.
