BAGMAN.DLL v1.2 is unique among WinHelp baggage handler DLLs. With it, you can:
- display an optional confirmation message to the end user, letting them know whether or not the selected file has successfully been extracted from baggage.
- optionally display the traditional Save As ... common dialog box, allowing the user to decide where on their computer to save the file.
- save space in your Help file by compressing your baggage file with Microsoft’s COMPRESS.EXE. BAGMAN.DLL v1.2 will optionally re-expand the baggage file when it is extracted from the Help file.
Of course, all the above are author defined options that you, the author, decide on how to implement when you create the Help file.
