Yes, it's remake time. My conversion is intended to be a faithful play-alike version of the original, so don't expect smooth scrolling or gouraud-shaded volumetric depth-cued mip-map-interpolated trilinear-filtered fluffy-dice rendering. I haven't been working on it very much lately, but what there is of it is available to all free of charge. I may release the source code, but since I've been doing this as a get-the-hang-of-C exercise, it may not be pretty.
I'm writing for Windows, using MinGW and Allegro.
