3DMark99 was the first 3DMark released by Futuremark Corp back in October 1998. Later in March 1999 3DMark99 MAX was released introducing many improvements to the original 3DMark99.
Note: 3DMark99 and 3DMark99 MAX are no longer supported by Futuremark. You can still download 3DMark99/MAX and run the benchmark, but the on-line services are not available for this software.
